Before coming here I was required to take a class that was to ‘prepare’ me for my study abroad experience. In it, my teacher informed me that they don’t celebrate Christmas the way Americans do so not to expect much decoration. Well thankfully, she was wrong, or maybe just out-of-date.

Outside the ‘Wedding Cake’ building (unofficial nickname).

Looking down Via del Corso. The green, white, and red lights run down the entire street between Piazza Popolo and the ‘Wedding Cake’ building.

One of the big trees on Corso.

Christmas street jazz on Corso.

Christmas chandeliers lead the way to the Spanish Steps.
I hear there’s a giant tree outside of St. Peter’s I’m gonna go check out tomorrow after the Vatican museums. One week left ‘til my triumphant return to America.
